HOW DO I "PAN DE HUEVO!"?!?

This is a "blog" short for web log. It works like a web site with a very specific structure that facilitates informal group communication. Messages are displayed with the most recent post on top. There are links on the sidebar which will take you to specific postings. For more on blogging, see "10 Things I Learned About Blogs" from Time Magazine or ABC News article claiming Bloggers are the People of the Year for 2004.

If you see a some words in a different color of type (like the titles that start out “FIRST CUT” or words colored like this), click on it. These links will take you out of the blog to other web sites. In the case of "FIRST CUT", you will see small images, thumbnails, which can be clicked on to see larger versions of those images. To get back to here, you will need to use the "Back" button on your browser because these links are not part of the blog site.

If you have trouble reaching any of the pages or images that are linked in, please look at the first Comment to this blog message. (Click on the word “Comments” below.) I have posted some initial help to reach my web site where I have squirreled away all these extra web pages and images.

Perhaps you noticed a bit of "spammish" looking email in your inbox with "Blogger Invite" in the subject? That was from me via Google inviting you to join this blog. If you need another invite, just send me email. I can send them again.

I currently have the blog configured so that anyone with a blogger account may comment, but only members of our blog can post a new message. It's a pain to have to register with Blogger to comment, but it's one way to deter spammers from filling up the blogs with garbage.

Speaking of blogger accounts...these are for all of Google's blogs. So, if you have a hard time finding a unique name, it's not "Pan de Huevo", it's Google. I use the same username for my Google blog that I use for my Google email, hvrose.

Please use the Comments to post your opinions on the "First Cut..." edits or thoughts on any of these messages. And, if you are a member of “pan de huevo” you can post a message of your own for others to comment on, ridicule, snicker behind your back, whatever...enjoy! Heather
